On November 13, 2021, facilitators and participants from ELI's longrunning Conversations Circle gathered with ELI faculty and staff near campus in picturesque Burns Park for the first ever Conversation Circles Fall Harvest Gathering." This open house drop-in style event featured hot cider, donuts, and apples from a nearby orchard, and door prizes from Cherry Republic. The energy was high as many circles were meeting for the first time, and tossed footballs and learned about the exotic midwestern bean bag tossing ritual.
Generously supported by friends of ELI through this year's Giving Blueday campaign, this first all-Circles gathering ever was a smashing success, so watch out for more similar events in the future!
