Oceanography

 

Pairing your major with a minor in Oceanography prepares you for positions in state and federal agencies, sustainable energy, marine biology, climate data and many more!


Requirements: 15 Credits

  1. One intro course taken from one of the following groups:
    • Courses w/ lab: EARTH 116, 118/119, 120, 201, 218/219
    • Courses w/o lab: EARTH 119, 205/206, 219
  2. Core Courses
    • EARTH 222 (Lecture) +  223 (Lab)
  3. Upper-Level Electives - remaining 5 to 8 credits to be elected from the following:
    • EARTH 305, 320, 321, 333, 409, 421, 422, 446, 449, 465, 467, 478EEB 380CLIMATE 320, 321, 410, 467ENSCEN 467NAVARCH 320, 440Alternative class with permission of Earth advisor
