You do the research!

One way you can stay engaged with science while you're staying safe is by participating in community and citizen science. There are hundreds of projects that you could participate in. Here are a few to get you started!

Congratulations! Nearly 200 people in Washtenaw County took over 1,500 pictures of 500+ species of local plants and wildlife for the City Nature Challenge. Even if you missed the challenge, there's plenty of time to get familiar with fungi, identify insects, and recognize reptiles. iNaturalist is FREE and available for you to use anywhere in the world at any time.

Coming Soon: Recordings of the City Nature Challenge Live Discussions will be available soon. Members of our community share their nature observations while we explore the features and functionality of iNaturalist.org
