Jack Blumenthal

Blumenthal was a managing partner and director of consulting with Causey Demgen & Moore P.C. from 1986 to 2012. During this time he led the largest CPA verification and problem debt workout practice in the CPA profession in the U.S. for tax-exempt bonds and asset-based securities.

Before Causey, Blumenthal was a partner in Moss Adams, National Director of Management Consulting for Fox & Company (a predecessor of Grant Thornton), and the Chief Financial Officer of Martin Oil Company, a group of Swiss-owned energy companies. He began his career as a senior consultant with Deloitte.

Blumenthal currently serves as a member of the Audit Committee of the City of Denver, the investment committee for the Episcopal Church, and a member of the finance committee of KIPP Colorado, and is a board member of several other not-for-profits. He is the former chairman of the board of trustees of the Colorado Fire and Police Pension Association (one of the few fully funded large defined benefit pension funds in the U.S.). He previously was a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the audit committees of the American Heart Association and of Innovage, a large healthcare provider.

Blumenthal holds an MBA from the Stern Business School of New York University.
