Interim Forecast Update: March 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused substantial disruption since we released our regularly scheduled economic outlooks for the U.S. and Michigan economies in February. The fast-moving events of the past few weeks have invalidated our prior forecasts. We released updated forecasts on March 19, 2020. Read here to learn more about our updated forecasts. We hope all of our readers are remaining healthy in these difficult times.

RSQE is an economic modeling and forecasting unit that has been in operation at the University of Michigan since 1952. Four times a year, RSQE provides forecasts of both the U.S. national economy and the Michigan economy.
