WISE RP Impact: It was nice to be able to come into the program and meet students in my classes before I went in. It's nerve wracking to sit next to anyone, but being in WISE RP made it easier to do. The support from the staff was also delightful. It was great knowing I could talk to them when I needed to.

WISE RP Impact: WISE RP helped me feel welcome as an out-of-state student and woman in STEM. By participating in WISE RP, I felt prepared to tackle future challenges and comfortable in my own ability as an engineer. My WISE RP roommate is still one of my best friends and I am excited to live with her for the fifth year in a row next year!

WISE RP Advice: Don't forget to have fun! Take the time to really enjoy every moment in college. Also, don't be scared of change. If you're in something and it doesn't make you happy, then find something else.

WISE RP Impact: WISE RP immediately gave me a community in which I felt welcomed. The mentors helped me build connections that I have utilized throughout my time at Michigan. As a Peer Mentor for WISE RP, I got the chance to practice leadership skills and even built friendships among my mentees!
