WISE RP in Research

Check out rising senior and alumni of the WISE RP, Jennifer Williams' latest publication "nGauge: Integrated and Extensible Neuron Morphology Analysis in Python" published in Neuroinformatics Journal. The research Jennifer started during her summer as a WISE RP summer scholar, where she was the recipient of a 2020 Judith Cram Memorial Research Scholarship, came to completion and resulted in Jennifer's first academic journal publication. This is a major accomplishment, especially for an undergraduate student! During her time in the WISE RP, Jennifer was an active member and impactful student leader, serving as a peer mentor, recruitment team leader, and summer assistant to support newly recruited members. Her commitment to learning and supporting others is evident in all she does! In addition to conducting amazing research, Jennifer is currently studying abroad at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland! She is taking lots of diverse courses and getting to explore the beautiful landscape and sights of Scotland. Check out a few of her pictures from her explorations! We commend Jennifer for always being engaged in both social and academic experiences that nurture her technical and academic curiosities and that bolster her capacity to be an impactful STEM professional and leader. Congratulations Jennifer!
