Exploration with a Purpose
Our community has cultivated researchers, scholars, innovators, activists, policy makers, influencers, educators, and most importantly ‘leaders and best’. This can be seen by the amazing work done by our current members, undergraduate student alumni and professional alumni. Each new initiative created, every mentoring relationship fostered, and every alumni networking connection established has made WISE RP what it is today and has allowed us to successfully actualize our mission, tenets, and vision daily.
Our Summer Scholars program involves donor funded research and internship support for current WISE RP members.
- 200 hours of research over 10-weeks
- Weekly Professional Development

Check out rising senior and alumni of the WISE RP, Jennifer Williams' latest publication "nGauge: Integrated and Extensible Neuron Morphology Analysis in Python" published in Neuroinformatics Journal. We commend Jennifer for always being engaged in both social and academic experiences that nurture her technical and academic curiosities and that bolster her capacity to be an impactful STEM professional and leader. Congratulations Jennifer!
