Public Lecture: The Bristle Mammoth

The director of the U-M Museum of Paleontology, Prof. Daniel C. Fisher, will give a public lecture about the excavation of the Bristle Mammoth remains, found last year near Chelsea, Michigan, and what early research has revealed about it.

The Bristle Mammoth public lecture will take place on Friday, November 4, at 7:00 PM in the U-M Chemistry Building, Room 1800, 930 North University Ave., Ann Arbor, MI 48109, across the street from the museum.

The Bristle Mammoth exhibit will be on display at the U-M Museum of Natural History located at 1109 Geddes Ave., Ann Arbor, 48109 from November 5, 2016 to January 15, 2018. The Museum and all public mammoth-related events are free.
