What's your favorite way to be creative?
My favorite way to be creative is through any form of storytelling. This ranges from writing and reading to theatre and D&D. So much of what I love about creativity and imagination is the ability to come up with something out of nothing, and through stories you can truly become anything, whether it is a fantasy adventurer, a character in a world of your own creation or even just another person, through which you can explore more about yourself and the world around you.
Why do you love LSWA?
There is something undoubtedly magical about a community of artists and creative minds, and that is what LSWA provides. I have loved getting to not only interact with and take inspiration from others in the program, but also to work with them to collaborate on creative projects, elevating our works beyond anything possible from just one person. Having the space to meet other writers, artists, etc enhances creativity, allowing imaginations to flourish together and create truly beautiful art.
