What's your favorite way to be creative?

My favorite way to be creative as of late is Poetry and Short Stories. I like to take long walks through the Arb or around Ann Arbor’s historical neighborhoods looking for new places to relax and people watch and inspire my writing. I also love sketching, calligraphy, and cross stitch as activities to help me relax and get me out of moments of writers block!

Why do you love LSWA?

I love LSWA because it is a constant reminder of the joys of having a creative community. We are able to inspire each other, share relaxing activities together, but also support each other. Artists minds are busy places and it’s nice to have a system of support and zeal to rely upon.
