Why did you want to become a Creative Mentor? Being a Student Assistant last year was a really great experience for me! I got to continue to get to know the students, staff, and instructors of LSWA as well as have a gauntlet of easily accessible creative resources. I decided to become a Creative Mentor this year to further my relationship with the LSWA community as well as explore more of my creative side!
What hopes do you have for the upcoming year? I want to both encourage others to be creative and work on my personal creative growth. Additionally, I hope to contribute to the LSWA community, especially as we transition further past the pandemic, and help ease the stress of my peers adjusting to a new and unique environment.
Is there anything you’d like to say to future LSWA students? LSWA has some of the most open-minded and supportive people I’ve ever met, so don’t be afraid to express yourself and take risks on your projects and artwork!
