About
Sophie is a third-year law student at the University of Michigan and plans to focus her legal practice on advising startup companies on corporate governance and transactional issues. She also edits legal scholarship as an Executive Editor of the Michigan Law Review. Before law school, she worked in New York for the hedge fund Bridgewater Associates in both their internal startup and their investment division and she also worked in investment banking. She is originally from Boston, MA and has also lived and worked in LA, NYC, Chicago, DC, Minneapolis, and Portland, Oregon.
Sophie enjoys reading memoirs and contemporary fiction and playing strategic board games like Agricola and Container.
