OS Student Pathways

An OS Pathway is created individually by each student as they enter the OS Program, and consists of a paragraph describing your interests and goals, as well as a list of cluster courses that you think will best help you reach those goals.

OS has grouped Pathways into broad categories below, but these categories are mutable, and you do not need to make your Pathway fit existing categories. We'll make a new category for you if needed!

The OS Pathway is a set of flexible guidelines, rather than a set of rigid requirements, and can change over time. Your Pathway should reflect you academic interests and education goals, and can also include career aspirations. It can incorporate courses that you have already taken, or can stike out in new directions as your interests and goals evolve. OS will provide focused guidance in creating Pathways.

We encourage you to review the Pathway paragraphs of current OS students, as they can serve as guides and give you ideas for crafting your own OS Pathway. But remember, your Pathway is your unique creation, and you do not need to make it fit into an existing category.
