Two OS seniors assist incoming juniors in the development of their Pathways statement, help create social programming for the OS student body, and assist in recruiting new students to the program.

This team works in the brainstorming, conceptualization, and coordination of social events to reinforce the OS community. Service projects to study nights to social events - they are your go-to for community building events throughout the year.

OS Social Media Lead:
The OS Social lead actively participates in the development of and carrying out the social media strategy of OS through our Facebook and Instagram pages. They bring ideas and creative energy to the social media platforms.

OS Recruitment Team:
These OS students reach out to U-M faculty teaching OS pre-req courses, student organizations, and residential staff to organize recruitment events. As part of the OS Leadership team, you will see them at events like Festi-Fall, OS Info Night, and around the offices.

The DEI student team works with the recruitment team on recruitment of students to the program and the application workshop. They also work with the event planning team on generating more inclusive events.

OS DEI Committee:
The DEI committee works with faculty and staff on DEI-focused curriculum development, faculty DEI engagement, development of DEI workshops for the greater OS population, and the OS climate assessment. They also host a town hall for students mid-semester.
