Charles and Myrl Hucker Undergraduate Essay Prize
This prize is awarded to one undergraduate student a year who has written the best essay on China for an Asian Studies (ASIAN) course. The prize consists of $500 and is disbursed directly to a student's account at the start of Spring term. Essay submissions from Fall and Winter courses are welcomed; the submission deadline is April 1. To be considered, email your essay to ALC-awards@umich.edu with the subject "Hucker Essay Prize Submission." The awardee will be recognized at the ALC Graduation and Awards Ceremony held at the end of April.
