Charles and Myrl Hucker Undergraduate Essay Prize

This prize is awarded to one undergraduate student a year who has written the best essay on China for an Asian Studies (ASIAN) course. The prize consists of $500 and is disbursed directly to a student's account at the start of Spring term. Essay submissions from Fall and Winter courses are welcomed; the submission deadline is April 1. To be considered, email your essay to with the subject "Hucker Essay Prize Submission." The awardee will be recognized at the ALC Graduation and Awards Ceremony held at the end of April.
