What are you going to do with a PitE degree?

At PitE, we are dedicated to supporting you in exploring how to answer this question. From taking classes, participating in volunteer work, talking with our career coach, or engaging in an internship experience, you can take concrete steps to determine the best career path for your interests, goals, and strengths.

With an interdisciplinary environmental degree, PitE alumni engage in a broad variety of careers. Environmental careers span topics in water, food, energy, sustainability, justice, and the natural world.  Some choose a more traditional environmental science approach working at organizations like the U.S. Forest Service or the Bureau of Land Management. Others take up paths in environmental policy, education, or consulting. Still others pursue careers in communications, city planning, healthcare, law, business, community engagement, or technology. We know that the endless options can feel exciting for some and daunting for others, which is why we provide career support.
