20th Annual Michigan Geophysical Union Symposium

The annual MGU Symposium is held in the spring. MGU is a graduate and undergraduate student and postdoctoral scholar symposium here on campus sponsored by both the Earth and Environmental Sciences and the Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering departments and is fully organized by graduate students. It is an excellent way to gain experience presenting your research and communicating your science with your peers without having to travel.

Schedule of events:
10:30 - 11:00: Registration open (BSB)
11:00 - 12:30: Morning Poster Session (BSB)
12:30 - 1:15: lunch time (lunch provided for all registrants in NUB 2540)
1:15 - 2:30: Oral Presentation (NUB 1544)
2:30 - 2:40: 10-minute break/registration open
2:40 - 4:30: Afternoon Poster Session (BSB)
4:30 - 5:00: Reception in NUB 2540 (awards)

Registration deadline is March 29. You must register in order to attend; abstract submission does NOT automatically register you.
