Associate Director
Sweetland Center for Writing
Naomi Silver is Associate Director of the Sweetland Center for Writing, where she is also a faculty Lecturer IV. Her research focuses on reflective pedagogies, multiliteracies, and digital rhetoric. She teaches digital media courses in Sweetland’s Minor in Writing program; her current course, for the Lloyd Hall Scholars Program, is "Writing in Motion: Composing with Bodies, Words, and Other Media.”
A key part of Dr. Silver’s role at Sweetland involves consulting with faculty on writing assignment design and writing pedagogy — including digital media projects — for a single assignment or a full-semester sequence.
