Business Operations

Business Operations provides the foundational services that allow the rest of Advancement to do the things that only they can uniquely do. We have deep expertise in the areas of business intelligence, events, and administrative support. In addition, we lead all efforts for the organization's human resources, finance, and facilities, working closely with our partners in the college. Business Operations manages the selection and onboarding processes that ensure the continued growth and focus on our positive culture. 

Business Intelligence

The Business Intelligence Team focuses on cultivating, maintaining, and disseminating accurate alumni and donor information for LSA. This is accomplished by transforming complex data into actionable information through reporting and data visualizations, identifying prospects and providing strategy for managed donor portfolios, establishing and maintaining data integrity within the Alumni and Donor Relationship Tool (DART), and by ensuring proper stewardship of that data on behalf of the college and the Office of University Development (OUD). 


Events Team

The Events Team plans and executes not only strategic development events, but also academic events (annual faculty dinners and receptions, collegiate and endowed professorship lectures, symposia, departmental anniversary celebrations, etc.) for the dean’s office. We also provide event consultation services for LSA units.


Administrative Partners

The Administrative Partner Team takes a proactive approach to providing skilled administrative support to Advancement's functional teams, finding creative solutions to maximize operational efficiency and further the mission of Advancement.
