LSA DEI Office

The LSA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Office was created in 2016 as part of the College's DEI Strategic Plan.

The DEI Office:

  • develops and delivers DEI-related professional development training for students, staff, and faculty,

  • provides consultations to students, staff, and faculty on DEI matters,

  • promotes other DEI activities on and off campus that are open to students, staff, and faculty

  • supports diversity efforts in hiring and retention processes,

  • creates and manages recruitment sources in efforts to diversify candidate pools for staff and faculty positions, and

  • develops metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of DEI initiatives.

 

The effectiveness of our programming is evaluated through ongoing feedback and metrics collection so we can continue improving and expanding the DEI resources available to LSA.
