Effective Winter 2024
Advising
PCAS is the focus for introductory undergraduate education around computation in LSA. Students wishing to pursue a minor in Computing for Expression should discuss their plans with a PCAS undergraduate advisor. See the department website for contact information: https://lsa.umich.edu/computingfor/Advising.html
Grade Policies
Students may not elect the pass/fail grading option for courses that are meeting the minor requirements. The average GPA of all graded courses taken for the minor must be 2.0 or higher by the conclusion of the student's degree program.

They will learn testing and validation techniques to make sure that they are building the right things in the right way. The goal is to manage computing integrated into their major field of study. This requirement is to be fulfilled within a student's junior or senior year.
