LSA offers rigorous courses in science, technology, engineering, and math, as well as support and resources to help you succeed. At LSA, you’ll enjoy many opportunities to explore STEM fields in and out of the classroom while gaining a broad liberal arts perspective. U-M Biological Station

Join faculty, researchers, and other students in northern Michigan to learn about the natural world, examine environmental change, and seek solutions to critical challenges.

Camp Davis

Explore introductory geology, geological mapping, ecosystem science, and more at Camp Davis, located in the mountains just south of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Study STEM Abroad

The LSA Center for Global and Intercultural Study offers a wide range of study abroad courses in STEM throughout the world.

Get hands-on experience at a top research university. Undergraduate students can participate in the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), which offers opportunities to get involved with a wide variety of projects.

Learn to understand, critique, and redesign computational systems. Get comfortable with programming while developing expertise in communicating goals with designers and developers and ultimately rising to the challenge of creating technology with a positive social impact.
