Program in Biology Graduates at the Biology Commencement Reception
Annual Commencement Reception
The Program in Biology hosts a commencement ceremony at the end of winter term (April/May) in which students will have their names read and walk across the stage to receive a certificate. Details and RSVP information for 2023 commencement ceremonies were sent to graduates on March 10, 2023, and a general schedule of events is below. In order to participate in the ceremony, students must have a graduation date from the previous fall term through the following spring/summer term. Prior to the ceremony, students must apply to graduate through Wolverine access and obtain a major release from their Biology advisor via an advising appointment or online (see below).
Request a Major/Minor Release Online
Major/minor releases can be requested without an advising appointment only for students who meet the following criteria:
- Declared Program in Biology or Neuroscience major or minor
- LSA Online Audit Checklist is error-free
If these apply to you, you may request a release online (no appointment necessary).
