Students Publish Translation in Studies on Asia

Congratulations to current and recent undergraduates Zachary Burton ('23), Lillith Jackson ('23), Tiffany Le ('22) and Vibha Shivakumar ('23), whose original translation of Taiwanese author Wang Changxiong's 1937 short story Demodori musume 出戻り娘 (The Prodigal Divorcée) has just been published in the 2022 issue of Studies on Asia. The four began their work in "Literature of Empire" (ASIAN 442) with Professor Brightwell, but then polished it further over the summer prior to publication.
