Peter Ralph is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Oregon. He completed his Ph.D. in Statistics at UC Berkeley, advised by Steve Evans.

His research interest is in developing spatial models of evolution, local adaptation, and hybridization; statistical methods to infer process from genomic data. Applications of statistics, machine learning, and stochastic processes to genomics
