Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars (MRADS) allows undergraduate students the opportunity to gain research experience and professional development, AND also provides the opportunity to become a part of an active community. MRADS brings together a diverse set of students and gives them one common focal point: research. However, as the year progresses, members participate in a variety of events that bring them closer together to form a tight-knit community. All community events are created with the intention of helping members realize that they all have more in common than just research, helping them create deeper, life-long relationships.
MRADS events range from professional development workshops to exciting social events to events focusing on wellness. All events are created to be inclusive and meet the needs of the community.
