MES Professor of Islamic Studies, Alexander Knysh, was recently awarded the 2019 I.R. Iran World Award for Book of the Year in the field of Islamic Studies for Sufism: A New History of Islamic Mysticim. Professor Knysh received the award from Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, in a ceremony on February 5. Links to book reviews are included below.
