Videoconferencing & CIC

The LRC provides support to faculty and students involved in Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) distance courses and videoconferencing classes. This might include technical support in using videoconferencing equipment, the selection of tools and equipment for webconferencing or instructional support to plan, design and implement such a project. Projects in the past have included international online exchanges, collaborations between multiple classes, Global Teaching grant projects, and CIC language classes.

As a member of the CIC, the University of Michigan is able to offer distance classes between member universities. U-M students can participate in CIC courses offered at U-M in the same manner as in regular courses. In collaboration with LSA-ISS, the LRC provides support for CIC language faculty and students.
