Language Learning

The Language Resource Center has a multitude of resources and services that we offer to faculty and students in support of learning languages and culture on the U-M campus. If you need support that is not currently listed on our site, please contact us at! We are happy to discuss new initiatives, or we can refer you to other support groups on campus that can assist you with your needs.

Some of the services provided include:

  • Media Reserve in the Media Center
  • Support in finding and using tools and media for language learning in the Media Center
  • Support with in-class projects carried out in collaboration with the LRC (e.g. software tools, equipment)
  • Training & workshops (e.g. for software tools, videoconferencing equipment, researching language learning materials)

Ann Arbor Public School-Hikone Exchange

The LRC is pleased to host the first orientation session for students (and their parents) who are participating in the Hikone exchange fall 2016. As part of this collaboration, we have created a document of resources that students can use to prepare for their travels.
