Language Teaching

The LRC supports the teaching of language and culture in many different ways, from equipment to library resources, to workshops and individual consultations and project support. Contact us with your questions and ideas, we love to hear from our faculty!


The LRC publishes a weekly newsletter highlighting events, activities and resources related to the teaching and learning of world languages. Learn about upcoming webinars, pedagogical trends, campus events and resoruces that involve the teaching of language and culture.


Support and Share Space: Drop-In Hours

The LRC holds several drop-in hours for faculty each week during the regular academic year. These sessions are in person and via Zoom for your convenience.  Pop in with a question, idea to brainstorm, or a quick chat!

Our Winter 2024 schedule: 

  • Mondays 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm online & MLB 4th Floor (4309)
  • Tuesdays 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm online & MLB 3030
  • Thursdays 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm online & East Quad 1613 & South Thayer Building Atrium
  • Fridays 10:00 am - 11:00 am online & South Thayer Building Atrium
