Hair is a form of social expression and identity. For self-identifying black students or students who identify as a person of African descent, there are many aspects to consider in caring for hair abroad in both a practical sense, when considering self-expression, and local cultural perceptions, etc. This session will discuss various resources for hair care and things to think about when studying abroad.
