Tuition, Fees, & Financial Assistance

Our goal is to make the Biological Station affordable for every student who wants to attend.  We offer both need-based and merit-based financial assistance. Applying is easy and done on the second part of our application (apply by March 31 for priority consideration).  See "Scholarships and Financial Assistance" below for more information.

Biological Station tuition is assessed by the University of Michigan according to the half-term tuition rates set by the Board of Regents of the University and is subject to change. Tuition is based on College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) rates, and may vary if you are enrolled in another U-M school or college. Guest students pay "upper division" tuition. Student fees for all students will be invoiced by University of Michigan Student Accounts.

Our financial aid and scholarship deadline is March 31, 2017.
