Your Support for U-M Linguistics
Through your gift to the Department of Linguistics Strategic Fund on #GivingTuesday, you provide vital support for research and discovery by our students and faculty. Your gift allows us to offer fellowships and funding to undergraduate and graduate students, so that they can engage in experiential and research activities to investigate the cognitive, computational, social, developmental and cultural aspects of language. Our students collaborate with peers and renowned faculty, contribute with innovative research, and present their work at prominent scholarly conferences and professional events.
As U-M Linguistics reaches 60 years since it first became a department, your gift on Giving Tuesday will also provide support for community outreach, curriculum development focusing on new developments in the field of linguistics, colloquia and special events that bring linguistics to broader audiences.
