What is Giving Blueday?
Giving Blueday is U-M’s annual day of giving—a unique opportunity for everyone who loves Michigan to join together to combine their support and maximize impact. This year join us on Wednesday, March 13th for #GivingBueday 2024!
Your Support for U-M Linguistics
Through your gift to the Department of Linguistics Strategic Fund on #GivingBlueday, you provide vital support for research and discovery by our students and faculty. Your gift allows us to offer fellowships and funding to undergraduate and graduate students, so that they can engage in experiential activities to investigate the cognitive, social, developmental and cultural aspects of language. Our students collaborate with peers and renowned faculty, conduct innovative research, and present their work at prominent scholarly conferences and professional events.
As we prepare to celebrate our 60-year anniversary as the U-M Department of Linguistics, your gift on Giving Blueday will also provide support for colloquia and special events in 2023 to commemorate our department’s rich history.
