The Kelsey Museum of Archaeology is currently searching for a qualified individual to serve as its manager of digital assets. Working in collaboration with the museum’s Collections Manager and the U-M Library Digital Content and Collections service, this position will improve the searchability and accessibility of the Kelsey’s digital materials, beginning with a complete overhaul of the existing artifact database. The manager of digital assets will also oversee the Kelsey Museum’s paper and photographic archive, with a goal of digitizing and disseminating these archival materials for internal and external audiences. Furthermore, the position will assist the Collections Manager in ensuring the safe and secure storage and usage of the museum’s artifact and archival holdings.
