AEM 5.2.0 Code Release

Release updates from October 10, 2019

October AEM Update (version 5.2.0)

On October 10, 2019, the Web Applications and Services Team deployed the version 5.2.0. update for the Adobe Experience Manager platform. Included in this update was the following:

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed error occurring when Multiple links are in a paragraph form on Portal Pages.

  • Fixed Search for assets with the new Search format

  • Fixed sorting script so that alphabetization in People Gallery Mode is correct.

  • Fixed broken image message on Publications w/o images

  • Fixed directing to a page that has a News Archive component to land on the top of the page and not on the News Archive component.

  • Fixed font sizes in the Accordion Component

Improvements

  • Added padding options for Tile (Touch UI Only)

  • Added padding for Button Component and for the Text in the button (Touch UI Only)

  • Added padding option for the Accordion Component (Touch UI Only)

  • Added Padding option for the YouTube Component (Touch UI Only)

  • Added limit options for LSA Events Component (College only)

  • Increased date range for Featured events

Touch UI Transition

  • Updated the LSA News Article and the News Article for the Touch UI. Hero Image is now on the page and not in the Page Properties.

  • Added message regarding columns retiring in the next code release. Message is in both the Classic and Touch UI dialogue boxes.

  • Removed “Half” option for Button in (Touch UI Only)

Notes for Editors:

  • Check the "i" in dialogue boxes, they have extra information on components.

  • Columns will be retired in the next code release. Move things out of columns into Layout (open Lab)
