Shelly Schreier and Brian Malley Named Teaching Professors

Psychology lecturers Shelly Schreier and Brian Malley have each received the new title of Teaching Professor for their outstanding teaching and mentoring within our department. Created to recognize lecturers who make extraordinary contributions to U-M's academic mission, the title is granted to a Lecturer II or IV who demonstrates a history of excellence in teaching, commitment to growth in both knowledge in their discipline and pedagogy, evidence of practices consistent with the University’s DEI and accessibility goals, and, if applicable, other notable service to the department, the University, or the profession.
