Please carefully read the following instructions for details about booking a pre-law advising appointment.
The Newnan LSA Academic Advising Center offers pre-law advising appointments for students and alumni of all schools and colleges (Ross, Engineering, Ford, Kinesiology, etc.) at U-M who are considering and applying to law school. You are encouraged to make an appointment with our pre-law advisors. Please note that if you are an LSA Honors student, you will need to utilize Honors Pre-Law Advising. If you are exploring career possibilities related to the law, you may also find a career advising appointment at the Career Center very helpful.
Currently enrolled U-M students and U-M Alumni can schedule an appointment online. If you have issues scheduling your appointment, please contact the Newnan Advising Center front desk by calling (734) 764-0332.
Please note that pre-law advising appointments cannot be booked by emailing our pre-law advisors directly.
Preparing for your Pre-Law Advising Appointment

- If interested in learning more about the LSAT and developing a timeline for taking the LSAT, review the LSAT portion of our website.
- Essay Support: LSA students and alumni can schedule an appointment with a Pre-Law advisor to brainstorm ideas and discuss the key components of a personal statement and other application materials. Please select “Essay Brainstorming” as your reason for the appointment when scheduling.
