General Advising

General advising appointments are 30-minute sessions offered year-round to currently-enrolled LSA students that allow you to speak with a general advisor. The quickest way to scehdule a general advising appointment is by clicking the button below to visit our online scheduling system.

Pre-Health

First- and Second- Year LSA students:

You are encouraged to meet with any of our general academic advisors to discuss your interest in health professions and reflect on your "why." They will help you narrow your ideas, develop a plan for continued exploration, ensure you are making progress on required coursework, and help you figure out the next best step on your path. First- and Second- Year students may also visit pre-health drop-in hours Monday-Friday from 2:00 - 3:00pm. 

Juniors, Seniors, and LSA Alumni preparting for application:

Writing Consulting

Newnan Writing Consultantssupport students in the writing and reflection work necessary to craft excellent application essays for graduate, law, and health-professional schools.

Note: Writing Consultants at Newnan do not review writing for undergraduate opportunities, such as internship essays or student employment cover letters. This service is only available to currently-enrolled LSA students and graduates of LSA.
