What's Happening @ the Hub?

Are you ready to find your people? This month, we’re hosting a selection of events that’ll allow you to connect with industry experts and LSA alums, create authentic relationships, and expand your professional network.

We’re using October to help students like you build up your social capital. What is social capital? The value derived from accessing and using a strong community and network of connections made up of people, groups, and more. Growing your network can not only help you gain access to internships and “hidden” job opportunities, but can bolster  your confidence and heighten your professional identity.

If you haven’t already, sign up for LSA Engage to access these upcoming events and experiences!

Did you know that 43% of resumés are discarded for being poorly written? Find out how to get your resumé in the front of the queue by attending our hour-long interactive workshop curated to set you up for success. Our team at the Hub is here to help guide you through the application and interview preparation process and become career-ready.

This in-person event will include:

  • A coach-led live session to help tailor your resumé and cover letter for specific job or internship descriptions
  • Practice interview time with feedback
  • An optional online Canvas module with additional application materials that can be completed after the live session

Join us to learn how to make your application stand out and anticipate potential interview questions, helping you secure a job or internship.
