LSA undergrads interning in the U.S. or abroad are encouraged to explore ALA 225: Undergraduate Internship Course, a one-credit Applied Liberal Arts course offered this summer from May through August.
In ALA 225, you'll become part of a cohort of Michigan undergrads reflecting on their internships in an online community where they share insights and experiences.
Credit is earned via the academic requirements associated with the course, which include four reflections, participation in the Yellowdig social media platform, and preparing for key moments and tasks in your internship.
Remember, students are required to sign up for ALA 225 before the start of their internship. Other requirements for spring/summer term include a minimum six-week experience that requires you to work at least 25 hours per week.
