Over 60 past and future MIW students convened at 5:30 PM in the Henderson Room in the Michigan League on Friday, April 5 to bid farewell to graduating seniors who completed a semester in Washington DC.  Students came from cohorts going back to the Fall 2010 group, although graduating seniors currently in DC were not able to be at the reception.

At 6:30 PM, Professor Edie Goldenberg, MIW Faculty Director, gave a short talk and provided students with their red, white and blue service cords (representing public service at their internships in DC) to wear at commencement in May.  The brief ceremony ended with a group photo and students dispersed to local venues to continue the celebration and discuss post-graduation plans.
