Dragomir Radev, Professor in Computer Science and Engineering and Linguistics, has been coaching the US and Canada teams for the International Linguistics Olympiad for many years, and over the years his teams have done very well. This year was no different. Drago accompanied three teams, two from the US and one from Canada, to the 13th International Olympiad, held in Bulgaria from July 20-24, 2015. The USA contestants took five of the top ten places in the individual context, including three gold medals. One of the US teams also received the coveted Blue Cup award for the team with the highest average performance by its individual members.
