Faculty & Departments
Latina/o Studies co-sponsors guest lectures, conferences, and other scholarly activities that contribute to the academic and research mission of the department and LSA. Preference will be given to events that demonstrate a strong interdisciplinary focus.
Graduate Students/Interest Groups
The Program will co-sponsor guest lectures and provide funding for other scholarly activities that contribute to the academic and research mission of the Program and LSA. Events proposed by students outside of the department must be open to Latina/o Studies graduate student participation.
Undergraduate Student Groups
The Program will co-sponsor guest lectures and provide funding for events and activities that have a scholarly component and contribute to the academic and research mission of the department and LSA. Latina/o Studies does not provide funding for charity, cultural or social events that do not have an educational component, or conference/research travel for individual students. The Department of American Culture and its constituent units enjoy collaborating with faculty, departments, graduate student interest groups, and undergraduate student groups on events that align with our vision. We are experimenting with a streamlined process for considering requests for co-sponsorship. If you are interested in receiving sponsorship, please click below.
