On November 3, join Kelsey Museum conservators Suzanne Davis and Caroline Roberts in celebrating “Ask a Conservator Day.” This event, held annually in November, commemorates the international response to save cultural heritage after the flooding of Florence, Italy, on November 4, 1966.
In this talk, Suzanne and Carrie will give a virtual tour of the Kelsey’s Conservation Laboratory in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and provide a brief look at its field laboratories in Abydos, Egypt, and Jebel Barkal, Sudan. Come join us to see current projects, view cool, new laboratory equipment, and learn about the daily work Kelsey conservators undertake in the museum and in the field.
To register for this Flash Talk, fill out the form at https://myumi.ch/x7Njk. Zoom log-in information will be provided upon registration. Please sign up by 9:30 AM the day of the event to ensure you receive a confirmation email containing the access code.
