About Arielle:

Arielle is a Principal Tech Recruiter currently working for WarnerMedia where she focuses on recruiting product designers and building design teams for their HBO Max product.

She graduated from the LSA program in 2005 and began a career in Account Management for advertising and digital agencies. Her intimate knowledge of this industry allowed her to easily transition into recruiting designers specifically for ad agencies in 2009. Since then she's been a recruiter focused primarily on visual/digital/interaction/UX/brand/product design, product management, and more recently data science and UX research.

She's hired over 350 people in her career, and coached more than 500 candidates through the interview and negotiation process--which she
enjoys the most. Arielle has worked in various markets including Detroit, San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles for companies like Campbell-Ewald Advertising Agency, Pandora Radio, Uber, Slack, and currently CNN/Turner Networks/HBO/HBO Max/Warner Bros Studios. She's also been an organizer for her local CreativeMornings chapter for the past three years.

In her spare time, she used to watch a lot of live music but now tries to watch live streams of her favorite artists. She also enjoys printing and framing physical photos. This will be the second set of career advice sessions Arielle has hosted for the department (previously she led two sessions in February 2020). Arielle found the internship that led to her first full-time job at this very type of event, and is eager to share her experience and advice with the current Comm and Media class.
