Why did you choose to transfer to the University of Michigan? I grew up about 10 minutes from Ann Arbor, so I am familiar with the area. I love the environment and opportunities in Ann Arbor.
Based on your personal experience, what is the one thing you want to tell new transfer students? Wherever you end up, follow your dream :). The University of Michigan is a fantastic school and a great place to be. You belong here.
How did you make friends and meet other students on campus? I joined clubs, found other transfer students in my first semester classes, worked nearby with other UMich students, and spent a lot of time in our Transfer Student Center.
What is your favorite part about being an LSA transfer student? My favorite part about being an LSA transfer student is the opportunities that are here for me. I have gotten employment opportunities and different educational experiences through various transfer organizations. I know that the University of Michigan can provide me with the right resources to help me succeed with my future career goals. Also, I have made some of the greatest friends in our Transfer Student Center who share similar goals with me.
Why did you choose your specific major(s)? I chose the Biology, Health, and Society major because it aligns closely with my future career path. I want to be a Physician Assistant and the prerequisites for this graduate program are fairly similar to the major I chose.
