Counting Undergraduate Courses Toward the Master’s Degree
Students are allowed to take 400-level courses as graduate students and count them toward their master’s degree if the course has been approved for graduate credit. Students should consult with the course instructor to ensure graduate-level work is completed for the course.
See Rackham Graduate School’s Academic Policy on Coursework, Grading, and Academic Standing for more information.
TCS Degree Checklist
The TCS Degree Checklist is a form that allows students to keep track of their progress through the program. Final approval of coursework by the TCS director is required for graduation.
Degree Election Form
Students are required to complete the Accelerated Masters Degree Election Form at the beginning of the semester they intend to graduate. The purpose of this form is to notify Rackham which courses are being counted toward the master's degree and which courses will be double-counted and/or transferred. Send the completed and signed form to [email protected].
Applying for Graduation
Students must apply for graduation in Wolverine Access. Instructions and deadlines for applying to graduate are available on Rackham's website: Apply for Graduation and Graduation Deadlines.
