She/Her
About
Daisy was a member of the very first cohort of the Sustainable Living Experience in 2016. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a Dual Degree from LSA's Program in the Environment and Stamps School of Art and Design. Her interdisciplinary approach to sustainability has provided a wealth of opportunities in the field. In college she joined the Ceramic Water Filter Research Team at U of M, traveling to Nepal to work alongside an NGO in the development of the filter making factory, Kathmandu Water Filter Company. Post graduation, Daisy worked with AmeriCorps, the Student Conservation Association, and NY's Department of Environmental Conservation on environmental efforts and public education around the Salmon River region. Her passion for education led her to Albion College as their Sustainability Coordinator. There, she implemented student-led project teams that focused on building campus and community initiatives to improve sustainability and belonging. Daisy has had the pleasure of returning back to SLE!
